A loggia is like an outdoor garden room. If you wandered into a piazza in an Italian town and looked up, you would see comfortable semi-enclosed balconies. On some, people would be having a cappuccino; on another they would be eating their lunch. Some people would just be relaxing and watching the world go by. Since we all have very busy lives, downtime at home is very important. You want more out of life. You need more space - literally. So we transformed the traditional balcony and brought it back "inside" semi-enclosing it and making it a lot bigger and useable. It's free space, like an extra room. You can close the shutters for privacy or open things up for whatever you want.
